Today was a Good Day!!!

Today, today I'm proud to say I got a new apartment. I have been in this halfway house in Denver since November 5th '19, after having spent two months incarcerated prior to my coming here. I finished the 3rd level of my treatment plan tonight. Which makes me eligible for the non-residential part of the program.

With the city, state, country being "shut down" due to covid-19, it has sped up the process for my release from this facility & I was given the go-ahead to sign a lease. By the Grace of God I was approved for an apartment with the completion of my second application. The location is perfect as it is a very short distance to my work site.

I have worked very hard to get to this point and I must admit time has gone fast. But I am ready none-the-less. I've learned many cognitive skills and I've become aware of boundaries, etc..

I have become a major element of the project we're working on and am a valued employee and I love working for/with the people I am fortunate enough to call my friends as well as employers. I owe them much appreciation, though none of this "miracle" would have been possible without my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Thank you Jesus!!! 🙏

I now feel I'm the man I was meant to be. I've payed my debt to society and have definitely utilized this time for self growth. As well as spiritual growth. Financial growth.

Thank you to all who believed in me & never gave up on me. I forgive those of you who did.

Of all things I've accomplished in my life, this is the greatest!
