As do I. 
Patiently. 
I am with smile. 
Perhaps you enjoy reading rhyme? 
I'm a wordsmith. 
A poet at times. 
Though I've been unable to write rhymes for the last three years of mine. 
Now it's time. 
I never know when it's going to arrive 
but I've so much I got to get out inside 
cause for 1000 days this world I tried 
to change and do my part in making it a better place 
while everyday 
this human race 
spat in my face 
intending to disgrace 
this righteous race I run. 
I run this race 
to regain 
my strength 
and thank 
those who believed/believe in me. 
It's because of them I hadn't the need 
to give up on humanity 
but I was tested everyday 
at every interchange 
still I changed a city 
into everything 
enchanting. 
Always giving
Never taking
Seeking
Meaning
In the meaningless
Removing hatred 
from the heartless.
Giving my heart 
to the loveless
Rejected
By the Rejects
Feared of
by church goers
whilst mania of Mashed Monsters
Persistently
Attempted to remove God from me
yearly
monthly
weekly
daily
but there's so much love in me
they couldn't succeed
and alone I may be
but at least I have me
and nobody
can take this from me
nobody
not even me
only God
but he gave life to me
to be the best Tony
that Tony can be
and, well you see
I'm purdy f'n amazing
peace

  I had a wonderful 42nd birthday & spent most of the day with my folks who came to see me from Nebraska and we enjoyed a nice lunch together. I'm definitely in a better place then I ever thought I'd be at this age with all I've put myself through but by the grace of God and my family and friends unconditional love I'm better then ever. It's a great feeling indeed!

1999 At the TNN Music City News Country Awards, Faith Hill and Husband Tim McGraw cement their claim as the new queen and king of country music. Hill is the evening's top winner, receiving five honors. McGraw receives the best male vocalist accolade. 

1997 At the City of Hope Softball Game at Greer Stadium in Nashville, Not all is fun and games. A peg from teammate Doug Supernaw catches singer Terri Clark square in the face, leaving her with extensive soft tissue injuries and a fracture in her left cheekbone. 

1996 Drummer, Thomas Edward Montgomery dies at the age of 74. 

1995 Michael Jackson appears on TV with wife Lisa Marie Presley in a live interview with newswoman Diane Sawyer. Jackson denies in the interview all allegations of child molestation. Presley denies rumors that she is pregnant. 

1995 Irish rock great Rory Gallagher dies at age 47 in London from complications following a liver transplant. 

1994 Composer Henry Mancini dies of complications from liver and pancreatic cancer in his Beverly Hills, Calif., home. He wrote ``Moon River,'' ``Days of Wine and Roses'' and ``The Pink Panther Theme.'' He won four Oscars and 20 Grammy Awards, including the first best album Grammy for the 
1958 ``The Music from Peter Gunn.'' His biggest hit was the million-selling No. 1 single ``Love Theme from Romeo & Juliet.'' 

1987 No. 1 Billboard Pop Hit: ``Head to Toe,'' Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam. 

1982 The Pretenders fire bass player Pete Farndon. Two days later the band's guitar player, James Honeyman-Scott, dies. Farndon dies of a drug overdose in 1983. 

1980 The movie ``Roadie,'' starring Meat Loaf, debuts. The soundtrack also features Blondie's Deborah Harry, Pat Benatar, Cheap Trick, Joe Ely, Alice Cooper, Styx, Teddy Pendergrass, Roy Orbison and Emmylou Harris, Jerry Lee Lewis and Asleep At the Wheel.

1381  The Peasant’s Revolt, led by Wat Tyler, climaxed when rebels marched on Jordan. They plundered, burned and captured the Tower of London and killed the Archbishop of Canterbury. The revolt was in response to a statute intended to hold down wages during a labor shortage.  

1775  The United States Army was founded by the Continental Congress.  

1777  The Continental Congress in Philadelphia adopted the "Stars and Stripes" as the national flag of the United States.  

1846  A group of U.S. settlers in Sonoma proclaimed the Republic of California.  

1864  Alois Alzheimer was born. He was a psychiatrist/pathologist, and in 1907 he wrote an article describing the disease that is named for him.  

1893  Philadelphia observed the first Flag Day.  

1919  The first non-stop trans-Atlantic flight began. Captain John Alcot and Lt. Arthur Brown flew from Newfoundland to Ireland.
